Direct drive extruders eliminate the bowden tube from your 3D printer, as found in the Ender 3, CR-10 and many others. I have previously made a guide on fitting an E3D Titan Aero, but that process was long and drawn out.
In this video, I present the DD E3, a direct drive extruder kit for the Ender 3 (which is likely compatible with others apart from the stepper extension length).
At only US $35, it represents tremendous value. The low price is because it reuses the standard hot end and extruder parts. These can still be upgraded using the Hero Me remix I have linked below. I believe it is also compatible with the Creality metal extruder arms too.
This is a well manufactured product, made by a fellow enthusiast. This product was supplied by Basaraba Innovations for the purpose of making this guide.

Please direct all enquiries to the seller. I highly recommend getting the stepper motor extension cable. Official instructions are linked in the ad.
