You create a musical. That's just what the legendary Harold Prince did, alongside collaborators Susan Stroman and David Thompson. Prince of Broadway'', a theatrical retrospective of Prince's storied career, is getting ready to take the stage, in the most unconventional of manners. Before presumably opening in New York, the production, which stars Broadway vets like Ramin Karimloo, Tony Yazbeck, Nancy Opel, Emily Skinner, and Shuler Hensley, is heading to an out-of-town tryout in Japan. Before they went overseas, the company gathered for an open press rehearsal where they presented several musical numbers from the production. The result is the cast recording to our musical-theater childhood.
